What is Parting Instructions?
An important and often overlooked document in estate planning, sometimes referred to as a letter of instruction. Why can't I include this information in my will?
A will is a legal document and is typically in a standard format. Accordingly, it only allows for certain types of information to be captured. If you did want to capture additional information, it may be subject to additional legal fees.
What's the difference between the Premium and Basic memberships?
Our Premium membership allows you to make as many changes as you need. Our Basic membership allows you to make as many changes as you need, but only for one year. However, if you purchase the Basic membership, you will also have the option to upgrade to our Premium membership at anytime during the course of your one-year membership.
How can I send my Parting Instructions to a loved one?
Your Parting Instructions is generated as a PDF document. This means you can print it out and give it to someone, or save it to your computer and email it to someone.
Do I need to complete every section of my Parting Instructions?
No. It is completely up to you how much information you want to include in your document. There is also a 'Miscellaneous' section at the end just in case you would like to include some information we have not already covered.
